Directions From Salt Lake City Airport:
Make your way back to Hwy 80 East via Hwy 15 South and come
up Parley's Canyon toward Park City. Drive past Kimball
Junction exit toward the Heber exit #146 placing you on Hwy 40
South. Continue down Hwy 40 for approximately 12 miles where
you will turn right at the first stop light (River Road...may be
flashing yellow depending on time of night). Follow river road for
another 3 or 4 miles and pay careful attention to signs directing
you toward the Zermatt and Homestead Resorts. You will soon
see a roundabout whereby you will keep right until you reach a T
intersection. Turn left onto Homestead Road and within one mile,
you will see the Zermatt Resort on the right followed by the
Homestead on the left. Your turn is fast approaching on the right
and will be named Swiss Alpine Road. This one is also windy but
keep making your way to the top of the hill where eventually you
will pass through an overhead log entry (Don't turn into the
Sunburst Ranch). Directly ahead you will see the sign for Swiss
Mountain Estates. Take either road to the far right hand side
(Lucerne Drive) is recommended during winter). Be careful on the
road since it is a little steep. When you arrive, park in the drive and
follow the log rail to the front door, input the access code and
you're home. Let the vacation fun begin.
